Management of SUBAH
Development philosophy:
Subah always believes in participatory development policy. Therefore, instead of adopting a single approach in development activities, it adopts a group approach. “Subah” expects a society where there will be no hunger, poverty, exploitation, deprivation, abuse of women and children and everyone will be able to live in peace and harmony by establishing their rights.
Management system:
In the case of management, in the light of the situation, Subah uses a Top-Down approach. Subah follows participatory approaches to management, planning and decision-making. In the case of planning and decision making, the method of PRA (Participatory Reflection and Action, PLA (Participatory Learning Approach) is followed where officers, staff and beneficiaries at all levels can participate equally and express their views freely. The councils and committees that are closely involved in the management, planning and decision-making process are as follows:
General Committee:
The General Committee of Subah consists of 25 members. They include social workers, lawyers, journalists and people from other professions who have been volunteering for the overall development of Subah. An executive committee has been formed with 7 members from the General Committee.
Executive Council:
Subah’s executive committee consists of 7 members. According to the constitution, the Executive Committee is accountable to the General Committee for all its activities. The Executive Committee is elected for 3 (three) years by a vote of the General Committee. The Executive Director of the organization is the Member Secretary of this committee.

He has taken part in various national events in his professional carrier. He has significant contribution in afforestation, prevention of child marriage, Tobacco control activities. For afforestation, he received Prime Minister’s award in 2012 and 2014.

The Executive Director is the head of the administration. He is overall responsible for the organization and accountable to the chairman and as well as to the executive committee.
Advisory Council:
The advisory council is formed with some eminent personalities involved in social work. Subah’s Advisory Committee consists of 3 members. They provide advice, guidance and overall supportive role in the activities of the General Committee and the Executive Committee and in all kinds of development activities of the organization.
Senior Management Committee:
According to the organizational structure of Subah, the directors provide guidance and assistance in the implementation of the program. The Senior Management Committee is made up of all the directors and department heads of Subha. Led by the Executive Director, this committee implements the plans and programs of the organization.
Core Staff Committee:
Led by the Executive Director, the committee meets every month. All the officers are directly responsible for the implementation and management of the project – Administrative Officer, Accounting Officer, Audit Officer, Training Officer, Program Officer, Monitoring Officer, and Directors are the member of the core committee where the progress and achievements of the past month are reviewed and action plans for the next month are made.
Management meeting:
Annual meetings of the General Committee, meetings of the Executive Committee every after two months, monthly Board of Directors meeting, monthly coordination meeting, monthly budget deviation meeting, weekly coordination meeting and monthly meeting as per the work plan. The meeting reviewed the progress and achievements of the program.

Subah has four divisions to implement the program properly and orderly manner. The sections are:
1. HRD.
2. Monitoring cell.
3. Accounts and Audit Department.

With the close cooperation of the Executive Director one finance manager is representing the (head of) finance department. An assistant accountant, one logistic officer and an Administrative Officer are belongings this team. SUBAH maintains a standard financial system. A purchase committee is responsible for all purchases for the organization. A budget committee has been formed headed by the treasurer of SUBAH. The Budget Committee prepared and approve the periodic (yearly and quarterly) budget for the organization.
In order to ensure transparency in the accounts of the organization, internal and external audit work is conducted by this department. The Director (Operations) of the organization conducts the activities monitoring cell.
