On November 2, 2024, a meeting was held with all workers engaged in the “Income-Generating Project for VWB Beneficiaries” in Alamdanga Upazila. The initiative was implemented by Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha, with support from the Department of Women Affairs under the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs.
During the meeting, discussions focused on various challenges faced by workers and provided guidance on different aspects of the project. A key part of the discussion was centered on the Positive Social Change Program, particularly addressing the harmful consequences of child marriage and strategies to eliminate this social curse. Participants also explored ways to engage underprivileged women in the program to ensure their empowerment.
The meeting was attended by Munshi Jahangir Jinnat, Chairman of Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha, Main-Ul-Alam, Chief Executive, Lubna Yasmin, Admin, and Farida Parvin, Coordinator, who provided valuable insights and directions to further strengthen the project’s impact.
