An exchange meeting on the implementation of the Tobacco Control Law was organized by Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha in Amjhupi, Meherpur Sadar Upazila.
The meeting took place on Saturday afternoon at the Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha Hall in Amjhupi, where key stakeholders discussed strategies to enforce tobacco control measures effectively.
The session was presided over by Sirajul Islam, the Acting Chairman of Amjhupi Union. Among the distinguished speakers were Tariqul Islam, Sanitary Inspector of Meherpur Sadar Upazila, and Moinul Alam, Executive Director of Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha, along with other notable participants.
The event highlighted the importance of enforcing tobacco control laws to protect public health and ensure a tobacco-free environment in the region.
