The downtrodden people of the area are not well aware of health and nutrition as a result have been suffering from malnutrition. SUBAH has been working among them to develop their awareness and doing advocacy to let them know their rights to get health services from the government-run health sectors. SUBAH arranged many awareness programs and seminars among the girls’ students, and poor women regarding basic health requirements, nutrition etc. with the help of the Ministry of Health and Family Planning. SUBAH has distributed sanitary napkins to the school-going girls free of cost.
