The VWB (Vulnerable Women Benefit) Program’s savings refund event for the 2023-2024 cycle was successfully held at the Sahar Bari Union Parishad conference hall. The event was organized by Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha, in collaboration with the Upazila Administration and the Upazila Women Affairs Department, Gangni.
The program was presided over by Panel Chairman of Sahar Bari Union Parishad, Mosha: Asma Khatun. The event was honored by the presence of Mosha: Nasima Khatun, Upazila Women Affairs Officer, Gangni, as the chief guest, along with bank officials, UP members, Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha Executive Director Mr. Moinul Alam, and NGO representatives Farida Parveen and Shefali Khatun.
During the event, Mosha: Nasima Khatun, the Upazila Women Affairs Officer, addressed the VWB beneficiaries, emphasizing the significance of financial empowerment for women. She encouraged them to utilize their savings effectively for a sustainable future.
This initiative reflects a strong commitment to women’s economic independence, ensuring that vulnerable women receive their rightful savings and financial support for a more secure future.
